Theme Junkie released the version 2.0 of Freshlife WordPress theme, with new and improved look and feel. The new design of the Freshlife 2.0 is really cool, you can see my website for your self, but a little bit disappointing thing is they have removed the built in timbthumb support for auto creation of the thumbnails, because it has some bugs in it. Now they are using the default feature of the WordPress, Featured Image section, you have to choose the image as the Featured image so it can create a thumbnail for that.
Checkout this new and improved Freshlife theme look at this below screenshot and you can see it live on my website itself, and if you have any difficulties in making it work, please leave you problem in the comments section, I will help you to configure it properly, another note is.. after once you change your theme you have again recreate all the thumbnails by making them the featured image manually, its a bit risky and irritating but once done everything is going to be OK.

You have to add a tag with any name define the same in theme options, so every time you want to publish a featured post you have to add that tag to the post. That’ it, please let me know if you need any more information from me..

I am using this theme . At the Bottom of every post Related Articles is shown . How to reduce the Number of Articles shown there ?
I think this is not possible from the Theme-Options but you can do this by editing the single.php file and search for related articles term, and there you can find 5 number, so just change it to your convinience

In Freshlife 2.0 Timbthumb support is removed, so you need to use the featured image section to create post thumbnails, and yes, you have to change all your posts images and make them Featured Images to work…There is no way atuo, you have to do it manually and in future for Thumnail you have to use the Featured Image section…

Freshlife 2.0 is completely revamped from its previous design and coding. You can replace the existing files with new files using FTP or you can rename the folder and upload as a different theme, then activate…

And to make it clear for everyone else here – if you want to update from previous version of Freshlife, you have to transfer all the customizations of the code by hand! Same goes for the settings of the theme
In my case I’ll make a localhost installation and restore a backup of my site at this stage. I’ll revamp Freshlife 2.0, set all the Featured Images of all posts, check if everything works fine and after that I’ll put Freshlife 2.0 on the live site

After a lot seeking did not find where to change the color of menü items. When inspecting with Chrome it says its’ color is #26B and it uses a default.css which I cannot find.
Would you please point out where can I find the colors? I must be taking colors from somewhere.
I did try the stylesheet.css and changed colors on it but did not find the right items. Menü text is still blue.

This image is not there in your theme than why in downloaded theme?
If you have enabled the WordPress Stats, you will get that icon. To remove that icon you have to disable the plugin. That’s it.
Which WordPress stats plugin?
Do you have JetPack Plugin installed ?, that is the one…Which also includes the WordPress stats..

If you get that please upload your theme files manaually from a FTP client like Filezilla..
How do I remove the “Newsletter” sign up?
You have to edit the single.php file in the theme files, and fine the Feedburner newsletter signup code and remove it…

Just remove that widget from your sidebar by going Appearance > Widgets.. That’s it.

Sorry for the late response, if you want to remove the date from the individual posts file then you need to edit single.php file, search for date and and remove that code… If you want to remove the date from Home page then you need to edit the Includes > loop.php file..
