Google Pagerank Patent about to Expire

Google algorithm for the pagerank is going to expire very soon, Google is going to lose the patent on the pagerank, in 2003 Google has renewed its patent but it again going to expire in 2011. But this time it look like Google is not ready to renew the patent license, so may be in future all the search engines can introduce their own pagerank system, If they do really, that is going to be a big problem. Because it will lead to a big confusion to the webmasters.

In October 2003, we extended our exclusivity period to this patent through 2011, at which point our license will become non-exclusive. The PageRank patent expires in 2017.

So webmasters don’t work for pagearnk, only work for SERP ranks. SERP is the only way now you can make some good traffic. Get ready to say bye for pagerank…
